UPHOLSTERY CLEANING
Another service offered by ProCarpet is to also clean the upholstery in your home - your prized possessions which make your house a home. But these can be affected by dirt and odors as well as your carpet and drapes.
Steam Cleaning
The basic mechanics of steam cleaning involves using a high-pressure solution of hot water and a mild detergent/deodorizer to break loose the dirt. Extracting this dirty water, ProCarpt technicians store these in a separate tank. Next is to then air-dry your upholstery. This dry time is usually 4-8 hours. We often suggest placing a fan nearby to aid drying.
Dry Cleaning
Technically, dry cleaning isn't dry. Dry Cleaning involves the application and extraction of specially formulated chemicals to your upholstery.
When you have specialty fabrics like silk, rayon, and polished cotton, these can be damaged if not properly dry cleaned. ProCarpet technicians are specically trained to recognize which of your fabrics need to be dry cleaned and which can be steam cleaned.
With the increasing variety of fabrics used in furniture, rest assured that our technicians are kept fully up-to-date on the best way to clean your furniture.
